“It started with my wedding… and a little bit of imagination.”

Hi, I’m Kayleigh Savage — and yes, that is my real married name!

Floral is Dead was born because I couldn’t find a bouquet that felt like me. I really hated the idea of spending 10% of my wedding budget on flowers that would quickly die and be gone with the wedding day. I know you can preserve in so many ways but it just wasn't the same. I looked at fake flowers but I just didn't like the artificial look and feel.

So I started making something a little different — sculpting my own bouquets from all things pompoms! My creative streak kicked in and soon I had a whole theme for my own wedding that included bouquets, button holes, table decorations and a few other decorative pieces. The kind of floristry you won’t find in a window box but will last a lifetime.

Now with a small team behind me we are launching Floral is Dead for those looking for something a little different for their big events and gifts.

You tell us your vibe.

Think: colours, fabrics, themes (goth? glam? steampunk poet bride?), your dress, your venue, or even your favourite band or hobbies anything to help us build a picture of you or your recipient.
We sketch a concept.

Based on your style, story, and references — you’ll get a visual preview before you commit.
I build it by hand.

Layer by layer, weave by weave. Wool, tulle, wire, lace — whatever your piece needs to become a little legend of its own.
You receive your arrangement.
